USA Made One Piece Single Layer Racing Driver Fire Suit; SFI 3.2A/ 1

In most cases these are US Made RaceQuip/SafeQuip Labeled Suits Jackets and Pants that were made and placed on the shelf. Time to move them out. Pictures may represent suits and some just to represent color only. Worker Orange suits are all orange. Description below is accurate RaceQuips but these suits are made of Banox or Proban another FRC material.
The RaceQuip 110 series single-layer SFI-1 racecar driver's fire suit is made from Pyrovatex® FRC material. Note that sometimes this material is referred to as "fireproof", but actually all auto racing safety gear is "fire retardant". Pyrovatex® offers the maximum combination of overall flame and heat protection, durability and comfort for the price. This fire retardant cotton based (FRC) material is used because it retains the softness and breathability of cotton and will wick away moisture from the skin. Pyrovatex® fabric is gentle and non-irritating to even the most sensitive skin. The treatment process leaves the exterior surface shiny and supple. Since the Pyrovatex® process combines a chemical agent with the raw cotton fibers to create a bond at the molecular level, with proper care, the suit will retain its flame retardant properties beyond the useful life of the garment. All racing suits are assembled with heavy-duty, multi-needle, over-lock safety stitch machines to provide exceptional seam strength. All RaceQuip suits feature a high quality heavy duty Nomex® backed brass zipper installed with a double overlap for a more secure front opening. Stylish contrasting armband stripes match the full-length leg stripes. The black accents: high-back collar, leg and arm cuffs.
